Confidence with Kate Wilde of Engage with Business
Thursday 5 October – 10.00 am to 12.00 pm
To succeed in business and in life, confidence matters. Self-confidence is the ability to:
- Walk into a room with confidence
- Relax when things don’t go to plan
- Seize an opportunity when it arises
- Know that a smile and friendly personality will engage others.
None of us are born with an abundance of self-confidence, but the experiences we have in life, the skills we develop and our attitude towards achieving success are what it takes to get us there.
Find out how you can glow with an air of confidence, and how to fake it until you do.

Norwich Coordinator – Denise Bretton
Denise is business woman, mentor, wife and mother. She launched her business in 2006 just 8 months after her son was born, having spent 18 years in the corporate world, and is actively involved in her husbands business.
Having a child after the first flush of youth has long gone made Denise realise that time waits for no man (or woman!). Her maternity leave was coming to an end and the thought of wasting her time making money for shareholders under conditions she most certainly did not enjoy, while having to leave her precious little boy with a child minder all day filled her with dread.
A cursory conversation with the Area Personnel Manager confirmed Denise’s first thoughts that she really, really did not want to go back. It was time for a change.
Now Denise gets to enjoy the benefits of being a mother along with the benefits of building a smart home based business and is living her life by her design
Denise likes to guarantee everyone to the BWN a warm welcome so look out for this face
